Cody Education Association members took to the streets to make residents aware of the increasing safety issues surrounding stopped school busses. Members put fliers on cars as a reminder to Cody residents that they must stop when a school bus’ stop sign is presented and red lights are flashing. More importantly, the CEA notified the local newspaper, the Cody Enterprise, and in turn got front-page recognition for their community service effort. “Calling local media is such an easy and effective way for our locals and state association to get positively noticed within our communities,” said Coleen Haines, WEA Communication Director. Way to go, CEA!
