Judy Trohkimoinen

Judy Trohkimoinen was born and raised in Sheridan where she attended public schools grades K-12. She earned her A.A. in Music at Casper College and her B.M.E. at UNC in Greeley as well as her M.S.T. at Portland State University. She was an elementary music specialist at South Baker Elementary in Baker City, OR for 20 years and is a National Board Certified Teacher. During her time in Oregon, she was an active member of Baker Education Association and served as AR, President, and President Elect. At the OEA level she served as UniServ Council Secretary, UniServ Council President, OEA PIE Board (People for the Improvement of Education, OEA’s PAC) and LAC, the Legislative Advisory Council. She joined WEA staff in November of 2009 and is UniServ Director for Central and Northeast Regions. She lives in Casper with her husband, Vern Trowbridge, 3 cats and a miniature Schnauzer named Hoka.
