*IMPORTANT NOTE! This is a great opportunity to try an NEA Academy course; however, please be aware that in order to get Wyoming PTSBcredit, courses must have a minimum of 7-13 contact hours to earn 0.5 PTSB credits and 14-20 contact hours for 1.0 PTSB credits and must be pre-approved by PTSB. The Idaho State Univ. courses will not qualify for PTSB credit, but may give you useful job training and are a good way to see if you are cut out for online learning. For an extensive list of NEA Academy courses approved for WY PTSB credit through WEA, go to: http://ptsb.state.wy.us/ProfessionalDevelopment/tabid/216/Default.aspx.
If you want credits for salary schedule movement purposes, be sure to check with your own school district as to allowable courses.
**The 15-hour Reading course is pre-approved by WY PTSB for 1.0 credits through WEA-contact Kathy Scheurman at WEA for instructions on submitting for that credit.
